Outside Stop Frame

For taking our stop frame outside (on location) we went to the area around the college to take photos for a stop frame video.

For my first set of stop frame photos i had shellie and georgie stand behind a tree and poke there head out and then move closer to the tree in front until they were behind the tree closest to me. I didn't really like these set of pictures because you can hardly see then because they are quite far away.

For my second/third lot of stop frame photos i took them of shellie shuffling. One of the set of photos is closer up then the other because i ordinal did the long one but she couldn't do it for that long without nearly falling over so the close up meant that she only had to do it for half the time. i like these pictures because when make then into the video they are funny because you can make her keep going from side to side.

For My forth set of pictures I took then of georgie and shellie both shuffling the same as the second and third. These pictures didn't turn out very good because they were both moving at different speeds because shellie has done it a lot before where georgie hasn't so she was faster and also at one point they bang into each other.

Final Cut Pro

For this project we will be using software called final cut pro to turn our pictures into a stop frame video. When you get onto final cut then you have to import the pictures by going on file, import and files then find the pictures you want to put on and press enter.

Once the photos are on final cut then they will come up in the box at the top left of the screen then you select all the picture and drag them onto the bar/timetable at the bottom of the screen where you can change the order and duration of the pictures by clicking and dragging along the bar for order and for the duration if they are all the same then select all of them and right click then go onto duration then type in how long you want you pictures to play for.

Studio

We went in to the studio to create a stop motion video using the equipment that they have. When we got into the studio we were put into two groups and with the groups we had to come up with a idea of what type of thing we wanted to do and then we were given about 30-40 minutes to take the photos our group did a ours like mary poppins with her flying in the sky with her umbrella and claudia lying on the floor with an umbrella and suitcase and the other people in the group after the one photo was taken and before the next one was taken moved the around her slightly so that it looked like she was moving for example we kept moving the clouds to look like she was flying. Then we did it like she was falling and her suitcase came open and all the stuff fell out of it when she was falling and it ended where it zooms into her suitcase and its empty.
